On 3 March 1932, the group of Lakotas with the Sarrasani Circus appeared in downtown Brussels,
where they clothed Manneken Pis in his new ceremonial Plains Indian outfit.
Needless to say, they attracted a large crowd.

Many thanks to Mr Steve Friesen and Mr. François Chladiuk for their magnificent book
"Lakota Performers in Europe, their culture and the artifacts they left behind"
University of Oklahoma Press: Norman, ISBN 978-0-8061-5696-5.
You might still be able to get a copy of this great book in
the Western Shop, 79 blvd Adolphe Max in Brussels.
But even if they had not a single copy left, go have a look around in the Western Shop.  You won't regret it.
