Rosalie was a maidservant when she married in Boekhoute on 26/4/1899 with Bernard Vermeulen, aka "Noirtje Kuele". Bernard was the son of Pieter Alexander Vermeulen and Rosalie Coone. He was born in Assenede on 24/6/1873. He was a farm labourer. Later Rosalie ran a grocery in the Kapelle hamlet in Assenede where she died on 3/2/1940. Bernard died there on 30/12/1945.

They had 4 children:

Emma Maria Vermeulen
° Assenede 7 februari 1900
She married Adolf Van Der Vinnen.
Both died before November 1988.
Emiel Cyriel Vermeulen
° Assenede 22 February 1902.
He lived in Assenede, Hollekenstraat, 22.
He married in Lembeke on 3 November 1926, aged 24 to Maria Florentina Braet (21 years old), born in Lembeke on 20 February 1905.
Emiel and Maria had one son:
Leonard Kamiel Vermeulen, born in Lembeke on 12 March 1926.
Emiel died in Assenede on 20 October 1954 and she died before November 1988.
Martha Maria Vermeulen
° Assenede 27 juli 1912.
Inn keeper and shop keeper.
At age 23 she married in Assenede on 9 May 1936 Bruno De Decker (26 years old), farm labourer, born in Boekhoute on 14 October 1909 (the godparents were Bruno Dierickx and Mathilde Bouchier). He was the son of Edmond De Decker (game warden) and Elodie Maria Dierickx.
Martha and Bruno lived in Assenede, Kapellestraat 47.
Both died in Bruges, Sint Franciscus Xaverius, Martha on 23 November 1983 and buried in Assenede on 26 November 1983 and Bruno on 10 November 1988, also buried in Assenede, on 16 November 1988
They had one daughter
- Agnes De Decker
  Agnes was married to Marcel Boerjan, who was born in Boekhoute on 29 May 1933, the son of Francies Boerjan (railway worker) and Irma Maria Roegis.
  They lived in Lissewege.
  Agnes and Marcel have 4 children:
  - Patrick Boerjan
  - Thierry Boerjan
  - Davy Boerjan
  - Vicky Boerjan.
Cyriel Vermeulen
He was married to Marie Louise Paul.
He died before November 1988.
